Between Guitar Hero and Rock Band, the guitar solo is experiencing a renaissance. (Or at least appreciation of the guitar solo is experiencing a renaissance)...Well it has to be either Comfortably Numb (for sheer musicality and feel) and Eruption (can't believe this was recorded in the 70's!) for sheer technique and innovation. I also enjoy playing the Hotel California guitar solo the most.
