The Green Manalishi By Judas Priest Video Guitar Lesson

This video guitar lesson features The "Green Manalishi" which was actually written by Peter Green and released by Fleetwood Mac in 1970 before their more mainstream pop/rock period.

Judas Priest covered the song on the Hell Bent For Leather album in 1978 and it features a classic riff covering some great use of triads and power chords. This video guitar lesson by Dennis Hodges from JamPlay.com teaches all parts including the duelling solos and includes a full song demo.

Dennis has a great style of teaching and had me laughing almost straight away with his slight faux pas about drugs being cool. If classic rock is your bag then you'll love this lesson!

George Lynch Video Interview and Guitar Lessons

Really entertaining interview by Dave Navarro with George Lynch courtesy of www.maniatv.com. It really does illustrate however just how good a guitar player George is compared to someone like Dave Navarro who seems to really struggle with a lot of the techniques George is demonstrating.

Doin' What The Devil Says To Do Richie Kotzen Guitar Lesson

Wednesday, August 27, 2008 | Trackback

Richie Kotzen is an incredible guitarist and has played with both Mr Big and Poison. He has however truly excelled in his solo career where his singing and song writing talents have almost eclipsed his guitar playing ability.

"Doin' What The Devil Says To Do" is one of the stand out tracks from his album "Into The Black" and the video below provides a great lesson on how to play the intro chord sequence.

Intro Chord Sequence

Em11 Em9 Aadd9 Asus4(9) G D/F# Aadd9 (Played with a dirty clean sound and a phaser)

Check out the master himself. If you have enjoyed this track then I highly recommend the "Live in San Paulo" and "Into The Black" albums by Richie Kotzen.
