Design our logo competition
Wednesday, September 12, 2007 | Trackback
The site has been going from strength to strength recently and we thought it was about time we had a proper logo. So we have decided to open up a competition for designing a new LearnTheGuitarNow.com logo.
Design Criteria
Logo must fit into current color scheme but we don't have any preference on colors used.
Logo must also work on print literature (i.e. on a white background)
The ability for the logo to scale down to a nice little favicon is a real plus.
Preferred file types are psd, jpg, tiff, png
Grand Prize
A cheque for $100 (USD) to the winning entry.
Honourable mention on this website with hyperlink to your website.
And Finally
All entries must be submitted no later than October 13th 2007. We may also display all the logo entries on the blog before making a decision and open this up to comments just to see what our visitors think.
Please submit your entry via our logo contest at Sitepoint.
PS
We know that the prize isn't all that but the competition is meant to be fun and a chance for someone with some time on their hands and a love for designing logos to have a go so to speak. Although we can't offer any promises we certainly hope we can work with the winning designer on future projects with bigger budgets.
If you have any questions then leave a comment and we look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
