Hot on the heals of this excellent guitar course is Acoustic Guitar Secrets, a DVD home study package that is purely designed for acoustic guitarists. Our review copy came very fast, was well packaged and looked exactly as you can see below. It's presentation is basic but professional at the same time.

The production of the DVD's is excellent and to be honest there's very little filler content here. Dan gets straight into the tuition and consequent DVD's are packed with lessons (43 in total) in various musical styles. The DVD menus are very easy to use you'll be able to come back to particular songs quickly and easily. We also liked the split screen approach to each song which lets you see both hands in real time and in close up.

Conclusion
Dan's teaching method is very laid back and whilst he does make the odd mistake from time to time its very clear he is an expert guitarist who certainly knows his stuff. We think this course would best suit beginners and intermediates as most of the examples are fairly basic and easy to learn. However the songs are well chosen, have plenty of variety and will prove very rewarding. As with all his courses you get value for money and as acoustic guitar courses are very popular at the moment this will undoubtedly sell very well.
