The impressive Jam Station

The impressive Jam Station (see above)

Guitar tricks also provides a great little utility called the Jam Station which offers 150 backing tracks in all kinds of styles. It's easy to use and will help any guitarist improve his jamming skills as well as putting many of the techniques shown into use. There is also a Metronome and tuner on the website which is good to see.

The video quality of the guitar lessons is excellent although not all of them are in high definition. The instructors are always excellent however and this is no surprise when you find out more about the company.

Guitar Tricks has professional relationships with Line 6, Gibson, D'addario, Sweetwater, EMI Records and Sony. They are a NAMM member and a member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating. Many guitar lessons are shot as a full curriculum under guidance of MIT and Berkelee educated instructors which makes this website really stand out from the crowd in terms of quality.

The range of styles covered is extremely broad as well with everything from "b-bender guitar" to "touch tapping" covered in great detail. We don't think many guitarists will be dissapointed as anyone from beginner to advanced level with find plenty on offer.
