The Speed Learning System from Elmore Music follows on from the successful Guitar Songs and Guitar Leads and is presented as the definitive guide to learning guitar. This is a tough challenge as there are some excellent guitar products on the market these days and it takes something special to really stand out. We were therfore intrigued to see what this course had to offer.

The Speed Learning System certainly is comprehensive and is basically all of Elmore Music's courses rolled into one package. You will get instant access to Elmore Music's 5 courses as well as 7 additional free bonuses which are valued over USD $ 659.70. What we liked
As with Elmore Music's Guitar Songs package when you first visit the site you'll be offered some free guitar lessons which are excellent and we'd recommend that as being the first thing you do as you'll get a feel of the quality of the tuition in the Speed Learning System.
When we logged into the course we were impressed with how every section was laid out and it's a very easy to follow format. There is a heck of a lot of content here so we were pleased to see a 30 day guide in the course which will keep you on track.
We also liked the amount and quality of the songs that are broken down and "Fade to Black" by Metallica and the Carlos Santana tracks stood out for as being particularly well produced.
It's also worth mentioning that this course works on both a PC and a MAC which isn't always the case with other courses so Elmore Music can be comended for accomodating both operating systems.
What we didn't like
As with any course you can always find a few niggles. For example some of the audio players didn't have a stop button so if you pressed then twice by accident you would get two tracks playing at the same time. A simply reload of the page would stop this but we would like to see all of the audio players having a stop facility on the future.
Some of the pages were a little slow to load even with Broadband which is probably due to how much multimedia content on each page then anything else. Of course you can easily get around this by downloading the entire course to your PC. It's quite a big download but well worth it if your coming back to the course time and again.
Overall this is an excellent course for beginner and intermediate guitarists and we would highly recommend the course. It's not the cheapest one on he market by any means but the sheer amount of lessons and resources more than justify the price tag. We are looking forward to seeing what else Elmore Music have up their sleeves!
